Performance and Gaming

Both phones feature the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, built on a 3 nm process for improved efficiency and thermal control. The GT 8 Pro’s R1X graphics chip enhances gameplay visuals and frame stability, enabling 2K resolution at 120 FPS for top-tier titles.

Their AnTuTu benchmarks speak volumes — the GT 8 crosses 3.3 million points, while the GT 8 Pro surpasses 4 million, placing it among the fastest Android devices ever tested.

To keep temperatures under control, both models use Realme’s largest-ever cooling system — a 7,000 mm² Ultra-Coverage VC chamber — improving heat dissipation by 30%.

Display & Design

Both phones boast a 6.79-inch 2K 144 Hz Sky Dome OLED display with up to 7,000 nits peak brightness and 3200 Hz touch sampling. The vivid screen delivers incredible outdoor visibility and color accuracy, thanks to BOE’s Q10 luminous material and Dolby Vision support.

The GT 8 Pro introduces a unique mechanical assembly design — its lens deco is detachable and customizable into various forms like Functional Robot, Square Deco, or Transparent Rubik’s Cube, blending aesthetics with futurism.

Color options include Classic White, Deep Blue, and Eco Green, featuring AG glass or recycled leather textures.

Camera Upgrades with Ricoh GR Partnership

Realme has teamed up with Ricoh Imaging Company to engineer the camera system, inspired by the legendary Ricoh GR series.

The GT 8 Pro leads with a 200 MP Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto lens, offering 6× lossless zoom and 120× hybrid zoom, paired with a 50 MP ultra-wide and 50 MP main sensor.

It introduces a dedicated “Ricoh GR Mode”, which replicates the classic Ricoh camera feel with:

  • Fast startup speed and authentic shutter sound

  • Snap Mode for pre-focused street shots

  • Viewfinder Mode for immersive framing

  • Five exclusive tones like Positive Film, Monotone, and High-Contrast B&W

Battery and Charging

The Realme GT 8 series packs a massive 7,000 mAh Titan battery, built for all-day use.

  • GT 8: 100 W wired charging – full charge in under 45 minutes.

  • GT 8 Pro: 120 W wired + 50 W wireless charging – 50% charge in 15 minutes.

Both phones include the Sky Signal Chip S1 to improve gaming connectivity by 25% under weak network conditions and support 21 global 5G bands.

Durability & Extras

With IP66 + IP68 + IP69 protection, the GT 8 series is among the most rugged flagships available.
